review 1: It was nice to find out what was going inside Curran's head. It was too bland for my taste though. There is an appeal to knowing the male protagonist's point of view but there is also a downside to it. This time, it is more on the downside. The series has implied enough on how Curran feels about things. I wish freedom was given to the readers to imagine his more specific point of views. :P I feel that in reading this, some of my freedom was taken.Beggars can't be choosy, I know. I'll read anything about Kate Daniels to tide me over until the next book is released.
review 2: I love Curran's POV. Gordon has written these and made them available on their website for free and here they are collected all together in chronological order. Each story adds an understa
... morending of what Curran is thinking or feeling at a crucial point in the developing relationship. Sometimes the Kate books left me wondering what he meant or what exactly happened (esp Naked Dinner). Here we get to fill in some of the blanks. If you have read the Kate books and liked them, you will enjoy this. less
