Curran POV
review 1: I can not remember where I read this one but like any other Ilona Andrews story it was good. I think its kinda nerve wrecking to narrate a POV of a mega hero you know. I remember KMM being nervous about Barrons, but I say most fans aren't picky; we are all mainly greedy of the Alphas and their POVs. Very greatfull to Andrews team to write these for the fans. Ok now, may I have a another?! =D
review 2: More 5 than 4, 4.5 starsA nice little short story that occurs right after Curran woke up and before the epilogue in "Magic Bleeds". I think that team Ilona Andrews really do excel in writing the fight scenes, always hitting the right balance between action and emotional consequence. This one is done very well as Curran and his adopted father finally come to terms
... more(and blows) with his choosing Kate as a mate. While Curran Vol. I was just alternate POV this is actually a new scene that adds context and insight to the epilogue. You can get it free via the author's website, and if you have read "Magic Bleeds" it is worth downloading this extra tidbit. less
