review 1: "Tell me you did not just shoot Batman?!"That was probably the best line of the whole series, a series that I enjoyed immensely, but that ended with a bit of a whimper. Yeah, I know, some of the plots get resolved in other comics, but for someone who doesn't read any of the DCU comics, this was a big letdown. Still, this volume was pretty great, and had some interesting plots, especially the dead Robin one. All in all, it was a great series, and it's highly recommended for everyone who likes cop stories.
review 2: I know this series has since been cancelled, but they can't possibly have stopped here right? I mean, what a cliffhanger! The Corrigan storyline that began about 2 volumes ago has GOT to be resolved. Probably because of Rucka's ongoing affinity for
... more her since the 52 series, but Renee's storylines are always the most fascinating. This volume does lose a little something in terms of artwork with Lark's departure. But the plotting which is better than last volume more than makes up for it. less

A fitting end to a fantastic series. So happy I finally caught up with it.

I wrote a brief little thing about this series in the entry for volume 1.

Wow. Gotham Central is to comics what The Wire is to TV. Enough said.

An incredible, and heart-breaking, end to an amazing series.
