review 1: Great book, worth a re-read in the future. Plenty of knuckle-biting action, some surprise twists thrown in and a save the world ending, I mean save the world! The main character is also from his earlier book, Beneath the Dark Ice, and he is amazing in this book. Nice little romance, plenty of action, and lots of guns and tech. But still human enough that I enjoyed it. Fun read. Exciting, and some nice touches on the mid-east power struggles.
review 2: this was a truly wonderful book. the characters were intriguing and full of depth and vitallity. it was very easy to become emotionally connected to each of the characters and to empathize with them and what they were going through. the plot was also complex and stimulating and was not one of those that you c... moreould solve in the first 5 minutes but it left you guessing until the end as to who did what. a truely great story by a gifted writer. if this is the type of book that you enjoy then this is the book for you less
