review 1: In one day I was taken through this creepy yet beautiful story. I absolutely loved Bridget. She is hilarious, tough and brave and I couldn't get enough of her. The doll store scene had me cringing and holding my breath. I liked how there weren't really bystander characters. Each character had a meaningful part and they left a mark in the book. This book was a very good read and I loved it. I'm paranoid with every little sound now but it was worth the read!
review 2: This had some creepy scenes regarding possession, especially the doll house scene, and the last 20% of the book was non-stop nail-biting action, but I found other parts were a little too "young adult" for my middle-aged self. ... more in depth character and story development, this one just didn't do it for me. I enjoyed it and read it quickly but probably won't seek out the next installment. That being said, I'm sure teenagers will love it and relate to the high school dilemmas that ensue. less

Liked the exorcism plot but did not like the characters, too teenage-y for my tastes...
