review 1: If I were in Meg's position at the end of the storry when a cerial killer was out to get me, and I was all by my self, I would not have the courage to have kept him talking. I wouldnt have the self-drive to keep my self alive after three days of being hunted to stay alive for my best-friend and crush. I'm suprised that TJ had the strenght and will power to trudge himself a quater of a mile down to the boat shed to save Meg from a cerial killer with a bullet hole in my shoulder from where Meg shot me. I also wouldn't have the physical strenght to Body slam the killer when I was half dead. Overall I am very pleased with Ten. Although the ending was kind of vauge, It kept me turning the page every second.
review 2: A three-day weekend party in a remote island with
... more friends? Sounds wonderful, but, how much “fun” is it going to be? No one knows. Who could resist Ten by McNeil’s cover saying, “Ten teens, three days, ONE KILLER”? It tells you everything you need to know. Meg and her friend, Minnie, went to a remote island for a party, there were other eight people in the party. Things were getting weird after a guy, who allergic to the nuts, was choked by a nut, the Internet was not working at all , and people were dying one by one, just like someone was hunting them down. Meg was going to find out who the killer was among these 10 people. As you know, the front cover had, “Ten teens. Three days. One killer.” I could not resist the cover ; it is the reason why I picked this book. Simple words contains deep meaning. At the end, I was shocked when I read that the killer was the one I would never guessed. Like the book, you need to pay attention to life’s details. Do not miss any clues that might break you down and catch all tiny thoughts that fly in your head; they might save you. The author in this book writes the emotions among the group well. Fear, distrust, and anger were enlarged by the missing people and dead body. I really enjoyed the scenes. I would recommend this book to people who like the horror and mystery fiction books. This book also contains complex relationships, so if you like the things I listed above, you should read TEN. less
