review 1: This author seems to get off on his own knowledge of great writers as he never wasted an opportunity to let you know what " (insert famous writer here) says ..." About this or that. I also think he may be a "red pill-er" based on the inner dialogue of the main character and his superficial characterizations of the women in this book. Basically a) she was attractive, she wanted me to want her, I did and she rebuffed me, she sucks. But this is no study into the psychology of post adolescent females. I liked the ominous tone but ultimately the ending was flat. I glossed over the last ten pages just to get it over with.
review 2: I've really loved the concept, and I'd have liked the book if Luciana was just crazy or Kloster a psychopath, but the third possibility
... more, the supernatural one was a bit too much for me. (At first I thought that Luciana did everything for money, maybe she had the lawyer before the happenings, and Kloster was just a victim, so I was kind of rooting for him. I mean his revenge was a bit too harsh but still, the book seemed to have logical reasons, maybe it still has.)And I just hate open endings. less

This was a strange tale of multiple murders in Argentina. I like the way he develops his characters

Good, creepy mystery thriller. Translated from Spanish. Very original

Excellent. Original. Better than his first book, the Oxford Murders.
