review 1: Welcome to the world of broadcast journalism. In Prime Time, Hank Phillippi Ryan's takes us inside Charlotte McNally's world. It all started with an email posing as spam. That hooked Charlie on the story of her lifetime to get ready for Sweeps week for her TV station. And when she digs deeper, she becomes embroiled into a bigger scheme. Right in the heart of danger, things are what they seem to be. It's up to her and Franklin to pick up the pieces and connects the dots to this big mystery. And with a side of humor, she gets introduced to Josh Gelston, a college professor, which starts her blooming romance with him. With the powers to be breathing down her neck, it's a race to the finish before they get out-scooped by the newspapers. Plenty of twists and turns in this book ... moreto keep you hooked into suspense and guessing to the end.
review 2: I lost this book for over a year. No, seriously, I mean I LOST it as in I coulodn't find it shortly after I'd begun reading it. Turns out, it somehow mistakenly made its way into a box of give-aways that eventually went to Goodwill, but not before it was spotted by me. PRIME TIME by Hank Phillippi Ryan is one of her earlier works, and I haven't read anything else by Hank...yet...but rest assured that I will be. This is excellent writing, and just damned good entertainment. Saucy, snappy, sexy, and satisfying! less
