review 1: The adventure and love story of a strong willed mother ready to do anything for her son and a cool and practical man with a special gift, ready to help. I adored the interaction not only between the hero and heroine but with other characters. The author wrote a book that you can read stand alone or enjoy as a series. She explains gaps in information that would occur if you didn't read the whole series without making it tedious and long. Her characters all have very definite personalities that are a joy to read about. Though some characters have unexplainable "gifts", this was not a magical fantasy. I definitely recommend this book and look forward to reading the whole series.
review 2: I haven't really read one of my own books for quite some time. I enjoy revie... morewing my books from NetGalley. I couldn't not read one of Hannah's. I love her books and have all but her first books. This story surely will be one of her best. Her characters would fit right into your living room. Wish they were in mine! Catryn is fighting her brother-in-law for custody of her son from her late husband. There are a lot of spoilers in this story. She snatches the carriage and meets Sir Oliver when he follows her chasing to get her son back. Here is where the spoilers start. You will miss a good book if you don't read this book.
