review 1: I have never read a book like this. It's not complex at all, an easy read, but nevertheless a must read. In books, I normally look for the way the words are strung together, the flow, the structure - and yes, admittedly this book has none of it, but this book talks about growing up and changes and deals with protagonists sexuality, which I think people need to learn and understand. It also deals with the harsh criticism he receives and how he deals with it.
