review 1: So far, this is the only book in the series that managed to make me cry. For some reason Athena's story just really pulled on my heartstrings! I think out of all the women so far, Athena is probably the one I have the least in common with. She is this super driven, workaholic career woman. And I'm...not. But that being said, I really understood her motivations and I was rooting for her to get it right the entire story! This book definitely has a strong romantic vibe to it, which I loved. Grey was so adorable, and he and Athena were just what the other needed. Just like in all the other stories, I really loved watching the character growth. Athena changed so much throughout the course of the story. I did find myself skimming the book club chapters just for Athena's insights ... more(since I had already read the basics of the scene in previous books) but that's to be expected in a parallel novel. And the book club scenes were such a small portion of the book. I loved this book, just like I've loved Olivia and Daisy. Now, on to Paige's story!
review 2: I love the idea of this series. There are four (actually, I think it's five by now) LDS authors who have gotten together on this project. Each of the authors takes a member of a newly-formed book club in Newport Beach, and tells the story of that particular character (in first person) during the same few months of the Book Club. This is the third one I've read, and I find the books refreshing and delightful. Even though they are all written by different authors, they still obviously go together as a series, although each of the books I've read so far are good stand-alone novels, as well. less

Of the series, I liked this one the best so far, right after Paige. Fun, interesting, fast read.
