review 1: This book definitely is a page turner. I kept wondering why calli couldn't speak then later when I learnt why I was angry at the father. I felt bad for the father for the outcome on the bluff but at the same time I was glad that Toni,Calli,Ben could be free from the abuse suffered at his hands. also poor petra I was even floored that it wasn't calli s dad. but Lucky wow what a book. but the ending displeased me I had hoped to find Toni and Louis together
review 2: the weight of silence is a great book about two missing best friends in a small town. Cassie is a young girl at the age of 8 who doesn't speak. Her best friend can almost read her mind to the point that they know everything about each other. It takes place in modern time and leaves you in suspense du... morering every chapter and makes you want to read more. I would recommend this book to all people who like suspenseful books. less
