review 1: My heart aches right now that this series is over. I will most certainly be stuck in a book-hangover after this one. A Matter of Forever brought more action, and closed chapters that were unfinished in the previous books. I didn't know if it would be possible for me to be satisfied with any ending and somehow, Heather has me leaving this story still able to breathe. I would, however, LOVE an addition epilogue. Pretttyyyyy pleasssse, Heather?!
review 2: This one is another hard book to rate. The first half felt slow and it was hard getting back into the characters, everything seemed forced. Once it picked up though it really took off. About 2/3s into the book Chloe stopped falling into every pothole, trap and otherwise nefarious plan against her and her loved on
... morees and found her kick ass Creator persona. I was so sure that I had the plot figured out that by the time I got to the end I was blown away! I did NOT see any of it coming. It was a great ending (which I have to admit caused me to cry...a lot!) to a very original, heartbreaking series. I'll miss the characters but I'm glad that it ended the way it did, even if it was a perfectly saccharin Happily Ever After. less
