review 1: I enjoyed this book very much. I met Heather Snow at the RT convention this year, she was so nice and I loved hearing about her series. This is the 1st in the series, it's about Liliana and Geoffrey, they are somewhat lone wof people with their own issues. She is trying to find out who murdered her father and he is trying to set up a program to help fellow war heroes. The characters are great, chemistry.And best of avhappy ending :)
review 2: A mixture of mystery and romance with a bit of science thrown in for good measure, this Regency sometimes struggles with the competing elements. Nevertheless, with a hero who's a veritable Sir Gawain (okay, his real name is Geoffrey) and a chemist heroine, this story stands out from the crowd with some fabulous early conf... morelict between the leads as well as an interesting use of science woven through the whole. The mystery is rather too easily resolved, a conflict between the hero and his mother reads as overwrought but the romance shines through. less
