review 1: When I first began this book, I had an open mind. I wasn't expecting something amazing, but I thought it might be cute and/or funny. Unfortunately, it was neither of those things. The first to chapters were almost really good, but then suddenly the plot began to get tired and cutesy, and the portrayal of mythological creatures was stereotypical and overly modernized. I put the book down about halfway through and didn't pick it up again.
review 2: Josie was a good kid. Habitat for Hummanity. On the Cheerleading Squad. So what led her to anger management with Vampires, Faeries, and Shape Shifters? In this book Josie became more loyal, and really started to undersand what she wanted to do with her life. So cheerleading wasn't her thing anymore. Anyway's now she ca... moren focus on journalism which is another thing she got better at during the book. Snooping is how she found out about everything anyway... less
