review 1: 4.5 stars. THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD. Disclaimer: This is not a book for everyone. It has a lot of kink in it, which some may find really inappropriate. Nowhere Ranch was steamy, intense, SEXY AS HELL, cute and also very emotional. It had a great mix of sexy time, tension and emotional stuff that many can actually relate to. I'm really new to this genre, so reading something that was both sexy and emotional at the same time was a whole new experience for me. It was a very interesting read and I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. It was definitely a huge enjoyment to read about Roe and Travis. I wish there were more books though, but overall I'm really pleased by this book!
review 2: Book took a wrong turn 2/3 way - so disappointed that I had to write a r... moreeview. H/h were building a hot sizzling m/m relationship developing trust, support and D/s sex. Author then inserts platonic female character who changes the relationship - gives academic support to h, sets protective limits with his estranged family and pushes H&h to adopt her baby. H gets moved out of focus in the relationship by the end of the book. And even more disgusting, the h suddenly becomes a stay at home mom after playing a pivotal role on the ranch - never saw that in h's character. Also, H had a playroom full of BDSM equipment and that was never fully developed. And what happened to their BDSM sex life - that kind of sex life doesn't disappear overnight? Totally weird ending which ruined the H/h relationship. less
