review 1: Red has accomplished great things in his short time as a Pokemon Trainer, but something goes terribly wrong. He receives a challenge from an unknown Trainer, but he never returns! A mysterious young Trainer appears and takes "Pika", Red's Pikachu and only Pokemon that escaped the battle, on a quest to find Red! The fourth edition in the Pokemon Adventures is great! It captures the adventure of the previous editions, but it adds a bit more suspense to the story. The imagery was a bit better with the sounds and sights than the past mangas. This book, like the others in the series, is great for people who love action and adventure. This is a great manga!
review 2: After waiting for a few months after finishing the first 3 volumes of Pokemon Adventures (Red/Blue/Gr
... moreeen), I finally bought #4, and wished that I had gotten it sooner! Red has gone missing, and his Pikachu returns to Prof. Oak's house, much the worse for wear than when he had left with Red to take on an anonymous challenge. Then, a young boy named Yellow appears, and surprises Oak by claiming to know Red and Pika. Pika quickly agrees to go with Yellow to look for Red, and a new journey is on its way! Along the way, Yellow meets up with some of our old friends from the first three volumes, including Green, Blue, Misty, Brock, and Erika. Now, they all have to work together to beat the Elite Four's nefarious plan! less
