review 1: I loved this book. Although some of the pictures were kind of confusing to me, they usually are, so this is nothing new. It really took me a while to grasp what was happening, and I had to think to see the foreshadowing and predict what would happen next. The storyline was very deep from book to book and really explored the human nature well. Not what most people expect from manga, but these qualities are what I have come to love from this series.
review 2: The end of the Gold/Silver/Crystal saga--this is one of my favorite volumes of the entire series and I'm very glad to finally read it in English. If you're a fan of story/adventure...this volume's pretty fast-paced, in order to get everything in. If you love Pokemon...this had some of the great ones in the... morere, Johto's Legendary Birds, the Legendary Cats AND Celebi all in a single volume! Gold also finds his place amongst the PokeDex holders...and his post may be one of the best ones of all, something more subtle than simply being a "Master" of Pokemon. less
