review 1: The action continues to ramp up in this volume. Pride has broken out of the prison that Father has put him in, leaving Al and his allies to try and defeat him. Meanwhile Colonel Mustang has met up with Eric and his allies, helping them dispatch some of the soulless soldiers, but Mustang is really interested in getting revenge on Envy. Finally, the Fort Briggs crew is fighting Sloth and the rest of the soulless soldiers. It makes for an exciting story that you will have a hard time putting it down.
review 2: While I've been consistently enjoying this series, this volume is like a 5-star plus for including a very nice follow-up/resolution to one of the ongoing plot-and-character threads that's been running through the book. And it happens in the form of a Me
... morexican standoff where a character has to choose between justice and vengeance and ends up taking the high road because he and his friends all love each other so much. Total emotion-porn for this kind of story. Also, I have no idea how many volumes are left in this thing but Mustang & Riza had better hook up by the time it's over. less
