review 1: I have to admit that I didn't care for this instalment quite as much. It wasn't bad - but it didn't stand out. I find with this series I'm either blown away or kind of 'meh' about each volume. There's a lot of set up here as everyone gets organizes for the finals few chapters in the series - necessary, but not exactly the most fascinating things to read about.There was also a really long battle sequences in this issue which I thought dragged on and was all over the place. Normally I'm really into to the action scenes in this story but this one left me wanting more.Excited for volume 22 though!
review 2: Pertama baca komik ini waktu SMA, dulu belum ada terbitan elex media, kayanya bajakan deh. Berhubung temen saya langganan, saya jadi baca terus setiap nomer bar... moreu terbit. itulah salah satu gunanya teman, tempat meminjam berbagai hal. tapi lama-lama saya merasa kurang suka, karena komik ini "ga salimul aqidah banget", hehe.Berhubung udah terlanjur ngikutin, akhirnya saya lanjutin juga baca. Lama-lama semakin menarik, saya suka dengan persaudaraan Edward dan Alphonse. Pernah juga pikiran saya sampai terbawa ke Palestina waktu baca sebuah jilid di komik ini. banyak intrik, konspirasi. pengarangnya mantep deh bikin ceritanya. tiap tokoh punya karakter yang kuat.sedikit curhat dulu, hehe. saya udah lama banget ngga ke toko buku dan beli buku. baru setelah selesai profesi tuh sempet. selain waktu juga duit sih, hihi. nah, pas ke toko buku, ternyata saya udah ketinggalan 2 jilid. tapi saya memutuskan untuk beli 1 dulu, nomer 21, soalnya saya hari itu juga "nemu" chibi maruko chan, lumayan buat nostalgia masa kanak-kanak, hehesaya cuma mau cerita satu fragmen di komik ini. yang laen baca sendiri ya. yaitu saat rombongan dr. marco, scar, dll berjalan dari utara menuju central. salah seorang anggota rombongan bilang ke scar"tak disangka scar si pemberontak sekarang justru ingin menyelamatkan negeri ini". nah, yang menarik adalah jawaban scar, mari disimak"jangan salah paham! bukan untuk menyelamatkan negeri ini, tapi untuk mengubahnya. aku melakukannya agar penduduk negeri ini mau menerima keberadaan penduduk ishvar.untuk mengubah dunia, kitalah yang pertama harus berubah"hoo..saya terpana dibuatnya *emang gampang terpana sebenernya*. untuk mengubah dunia, kita dulu yang mesti berubah. saya jadi teringat dengan perkataan ulama "tegakkan al islam dalam dirimu, niscaya ia akan tertegak di bumimu". perbaiki diri sendiri dulu, baru keluarga, masyarakat, dst. sampai akhirnya bisa menegakkan islam di muka bumi ini. begitu kan?wah, karena kata-kata scar saya jadi diingatkan kembali. sudah sampai dimana perubahan diri ini, ke arah yang lebih baik tentunya. sampai sejauh mana, nilai-nilai islam merasuki jiwa, mengalir di seluruh pembuluh darah, mengikuti setiap hela nafas? yahyah..mari berbenah teruuuussemangat sya'ban!!! less

The army is moving, but so are the people opposing the military conspiracy. Finally Roy Mustang gets something to do again, strating a plot of his own right under the nose of the military leaders and the Homunuli in Central City - but not alone, because everyone is involved now and taking action all over the country and drawing part of the attention away from central city.There was no mention of Mei, but an awesome return of LanFan and her grandfather. Interesting revelation about Roy's upbringing. And it seems Al's time is running out...

I am almost finishing Fullmetal Alchemist manga. I need to read 7 books more and I'll be done.
