review 1: So, I've never seen 24 so I didn't have any preconcieved ideas. If being a producer makes you a great writer, I guess I should try producing something first. I thought this was a great story. Other than the fact that a few feats of the protaginist were a bit unrealistic. But then I reminded myself that I was reading Fiction and I got over it. I'm looking forward to more books in this series. In other words, please write more books.
review 2: Howard Gordon is a producer for the TV series 24 and this is his first book. The time line ran 48 hours and it has a lot of similarities to a 24 season, including the main character Gideon who is much like Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland). Lots of outlandish action sequences that keep you engaged but ultimately I can... more't give it a very good rating because it was just a bit too unreal and the excessive violence was a turnoff for me as well. less
