review 1: So, how do you get your money back from a ponzi scheme? With difficulty! Ava is back in action, although reluctantly, this episode seemed to be "in transition" as Ava debates a job offer and discovers Uncle may be ill. Lots of Canadiana at that start of this, in Muskoka and Mississauga..have I eaten at that dim sum restaurant? But Canadians are the good guys throughout, unlike the dastardly Scot of the title, not to mention the Calabrians....Like others in the series, some dialogue was stilted, overmuch emphasis on Ava's figure, and this one had a fortuitous death in the middle, but I can overlook those issues for the elements that I enjoyed.
review 2: This is the fifth book in the series and the excellence created by Ian Hamilton continues. Ava Lee takes on w... morehar appears to be a simple case of misappropriated funds. As she digs into the problem she uncovers a massive money laundering scheme which requires nerve and finesse to recoup het client's money. Uncle and hs driver Sonny as well as some new characters. This is a fabulous series. The next book isn't de until February, 2014 a long time to wait for the next book less
