review 1: This was a great story. Alix is a young girl who is living a isolated life in Oregon, because she has been hurt. She is asked to come to Hollywood and help actor/director Ryker with his movie. They have a strong attraction, but Ryker doesn't believe in love and Alix tries to keep her distance from him. I liked the characters in this story, especially Ryker. This is the first book I have read from Inara Scott and it was a a delightful surprise. Great story, writing and characters.
review 2: I think this cover is very misleading, because while there is pretty epic sexytimes in the book, that's not the whole book.I feel embarrassed about it but this book made me cry. Like Ugly Cry. I'm talking snot bubble and everything.It's really good - great, well-though-... moreout characters, interesting plot, and very few cliches both in the plot and in the writing. I would definitely recommend this book, it kind of snuck up on me. less
