review 1: If you are a just-graduated college student, read this book now. It is an amazing graphic novel with a focus on those awkward, hard months just after college or high school where we are trying to discover who we are and find our way in the real world, both in vocation and personal life. Nothing I've read has hit this period in life so well and you can't help to relate to and fall in love with the characters.
review 2: This story revolves around Meiko and Naruo's relationship as they adapt to adulthood. They both are struggling to find contentment in their lives. Meiko quits her job and Naruo brings his band back together, but it isn't that easy. The band isn't getting much attention and Naruo runs away. The story ends with Meiko mourning and honoring Naruo by learning how to play his songs.I thought it was a good story and could relate to the uncertainty that Meiko and Naruo feel. It seemed more realistic than the manga (Sailor Moon, XXXholics, etc.) that I had read before. less
