review 1: Very enjoyable inspirational read. Nate and Lindsey are extremely likable characters, as well as the rest of Starfish Bay residents, and you find yourself rooting that good things will happen for all of them. Nate's story was touching, and having known a gentlemen who was the only survivor of an IED, I could connect with Nate's soul wrenching questions of "Why me?" I also appreciated Ms. Hannon bringing attention to the plight of some of the returning troops and the personal angst they sometimes face everyday, and having Nate overcome it in a positive way was very inspirational and appreciated. Lindsey, definitely having experienced trauma of own on a different level was inspirational as well. She has such a good heart and likable personality, you'll find yourself wishing... more there were more people like her in the real world. The inter-twining of Nate and Lindsey's stories and their re-connection was done very nicely, along with a little "David/Goliath" story on the side concerning what will become of the town itself kept me reading late into the night. Great story, nicely written, with a feel good ending. I am looking forward to reading the next in the series soon.
