review 1: This was written by the team of Roy and Iris Johansen and is the 3rd I've read by the duo and I must say that I really like Storm Cycle and the previous being Kendra Michael mysteries which I'm hooked on.Rachel Kirby is a genius who runs a program at the university with the world's most powerful computer. She is in charge of allocating what projects get 'cycles" to use this computer called Jonsie. She went into this field because of medical research to help her sister who has a terminal disease. If I was Rachel's sister I would go nuts because of the box Rachel has put her in and doesn't allow her to do anything except that does change towards the middle of the book.John Tavak is across the world in Egypt and has hacked Jonsie to help him with a project of his own. The u... morenite traveling all over the world chasing clues to an ancient text that just might help Rachel's sister. There are other people that want this information and will stop at nothing to get it. It is a very dangerous, the competition always seems one step ahead of them and isn't afraid to kill anyone that gets in their way.
review 2: There's a treasure hunt for a cure created by an ancient Encryption, Pesechet. Rachel uses her super computer power to discover clues t the cure, hoping to save the life of her sister and others. But Dawson is on her tail, wanting to bury the cure to eep alive a major pharmaceutical company. It is a good story spoiled by incessant abuse of God's name-which did nothing to enhance the story, but was very distracting. less
