review 1: If your looking for a short and sweet romance this is it. it's not over done, too sappy, or too over sexed. Tori has been in love with Brody since high school but never willing to take the leap to let him know. Now she's been working for him and his brothers. A kiss between the two last year has left her fearful and guarded. Brody has to break down that guard to get her to give them a chance.
review 2: This third book in the series is a very classic contemporary romance, with nothing really new in the plot, nor in the characters. However it was nicely and convincingly written and I really enjoyed the time spent on reading it. Like for the first book in the series, the short format (around 100 pages) fit well with the story, nothing felt rushed, not much was ove
... morerdone, except maybe Tori's doubts about Brody which were repeated one time too many, with almost exactly the same words. I liked that the conflict, leading to the unavoidable breakdown before reconciliation, came from external pressure. It made their situation feel constrained, driven by external forces and I really understood why it made him so uncomfortable. I was wondering how he would manage to apologize for what he had said and the grand gesture he came up with felt nice. less
