review 1: Ok, so this book seems to be much better than the first book, but I do have my issues with the cliffhanger at the end of the story. Also, I'm beginning to wonder what else is going to happen to Alana now that she got rid of the Book of Spells. Will the book return and cause even more trouble? Will Alana be able to find a way to get rid of the book for good? I hope that a third book in the series comes soon.
review 2: There seems to be an interesting story hidden in this book somewhere but not well put together. The lack of transitions and other conventional writing tools are lacking resulting in a rather bumpy read. The author seems to be in a rush and never takes the time to let the characters develop nor even the place and things that show up in the book. I c... moreould never really get into the book because I kept stumbling over words and grammar and ideas that didn't fit. less
