review 1: Easy to read. Liked the concept of adding healthy food first, then eliminating junk food. The problem is it was completely ineffective for me. After her two week jumpstart there was no difference in my weight, inches, or energy level. What really made me bitter was spending hundreds of dollars buying all the supplements and specific food listed that I wouldn't normally buy. Also I cancelled plans for those weekends in order to shop for and prepare the food listed in addition to my regular food preparation for the week (I make my lunches & breakfasts for the whole week on the weekend). I really expected to at least have more energy or see some result.In case it's relevant I don't drink soda, don't eat much fast food, don't snack on chips or cookies often, don't drive so pub... morelic transportation keeps me active, regularly get 5,000 to 10,000 steps per day, regularly eat oatmeal for breakfast. Maybe this book would work better for a person who eats fast food daily.
review 2: This is a great book for anyone who wants to change their life or get back on track regarding their physical well-being. The best part is that, not only does JW include great tips and factual info, she includes meals and exercise plans with photos. They aren't sissy workouts either, so you'd better be ready to work your tushy off! Very inspirational and truly a great read for anyone who wants to get back in shape. less
