review 1: Remember in my roal dahl reviews I said this year was a nostalgia trip and about risking and trying new things? Well I went back to one of my favourite childhood authors but to one of her new releases. Although the book had moments that I found moving and silly and fun, I didn't really like it all that much. It wasn't because it seemed childish, it was because in comparison to her other kids books I found it quite condescending and not up to her old quality of writing.
review 2: this book was okay. my favorite character was Marty assuming that she is the main character in this book. most of Jacqueline Wilson's book are different to others. this book was about a girls who's name is Melisa, she's very girly, loves Justin Bieber, loves make-up. Marty finds her ann
... moreoying. Marty states that the worst things about my sister is that she's so girly. loves make-up, stole her night with dad. but when Marty rips her teddy. Melisa has to be taken to hospital. after this accident they both realize how much they mean to each other. ( nice ending) less

I'm clearly too old for J. Wilson's but I can't seem to let go of my childhood!

This is a really good book. It shows you how much it means to have a sister.
