The Cambion Chronicles
review 1: Imagine you have two guys fighting over you. One wants you and one wants...what is inside of you and will kill anyone including you to have it.That is what Samara Marshall has to deal with in the final installment of the Cambion Chronicles. She has Caleb Baker, her Cake Boy and now she has Tobias, the Incubus from the last book hunting after her, the Succubus inside of her and his stolen body. There is a way for Samara and Caleb to get rid of him and the higher ups in the Cambion world....she has to give Caleb the "goods"- yeah, she must be deflowered in order to keep the demons off her tail and her mom is not having that.Neither is Tobias. For me, this final book was very sassy, sexy and funny. Samara tells it like it is; she is pretty "gullible and prideful" as she mention... mores in the story. She keeps so much from her friends and it makes her seem anti-social to a degree(yet her circumstances pushed her in that direction-to be fair). Also I enjoyed the fight scenes between the Cambions.Things can get confusing along the way[the world of Cambions, the bonding, the binding, etc.] as you read these books but the romance, the humor, and the unique mythological creatures makes up for it.Really.
review 2: When Sam wakes up perched in the corner of her ceiling, she knows something went wrong. She needs answers, but all Lilith has left to guide her is a cryptic note begging her to leave well enough alone. But the gaps in Sam's and now Calebs memories are crucial to unraveling what happened the day Lilith took over. Like the dent in Caleb's carTobias/Malik's missing bodyLiliths impossible silence. Fading Amber is the astounding conclusion to the deeply satisfying emotional and spiritual roller coaster of the Cambion Chronicles. The danger and terror is real and once more I am impressed and amazed by Reeds ability to craft this new supernatural world and the unique confines of their natures. Ever wondering if they are posessive or posessed. If you have enjoyed The Mortal Instruments, Twilight, Hush Hush, Fallen, Born Wicked--you will adore the vivid world of this series, where love destroys, and revives. less
