review 1: The book started out really good. The characters were interesting. The chemistry was instantaneous. The mystery and danger felt real. Then, somewhere along the way it just kind of fizzled out for me. I was always told that a story should continue on an increasing slope of intensity/tension/mystery/etc until one pivotal moment where all is revealed and the real goal of the story of reached. I think that my issue was that there was no constant increase in anything. Everything fluctuated depending on which character was telling the story. I think in this case, it would have been better to stick to just ONE person's POV.
