review 1: Trouble in Mudbug is the first in Jana Deleon's "Ghost In Law Mystery Romance." I liked this book, and I loved idea of Maryse being haunted by her horrible mother-in-law. This story has more romance than a traditional cozy mystery, don't let the cute cover fool you. Luc met all the requirements for a romantic hero - tall, dark and handsome, and always on hand to save Maryse when things got rough. I have read gothic romances by Jana Deleon, and I like this lighthearted story just as much.
review 2: This story was so much fun to read! The main characters were fantastic. There was so much going on, a ghost, who was hilarious, murder attempts, mystery, romance, and so much great dialogue. The chemistry between Maryese and Luc was great and so was the nicely written... more sex scenes. There was so much going on all the time that you didn't want to put the book down.I read along on my kindle to audible. As for the narrator, well she was fantastic. I love Johanna Parker's southern draw and its perfect for a Louisiana setting. Perfect! less
