review 1: Jana does it again. Once more we travel to Mudbug Louisiana and intrigue, mystery and lots of humor. Jana's law enforcement research shows and she wraps you in her story, if she made an amusement park out of Mudbug I would go! So much happens in one town, in its swamps and bayous, all the time you are traveling through the story your thinking, but the answer is a surprise. an FBI agent is wounded and in the hospital, his wife and fellow agent is missing, as the mystery unfolds it twists and turns, keeps you guessing and takes you into scenes that will make you laugh out loud as you follow the story through the town and swamp camps while the Sheriff and Game Warden follow the clues.I think that sheriff Colt sees the ghost, Helena, but just keeps his mouth shut, but that's j... moreust me.Another book in a great series to keep you up all night laughing.
review 2: Epub edition. The best book yet. Luc finds Zach in a comma, spent cartridges all around and Raisa is nowhere to be found! Jayden and Colt have to work around the FBI to try to find her fast; there is no doubt that she had been kidnapped and her life is in grave danger. Of course, Maryse has to get involved even with a threat from Luc's job hanging over her, she can not stand doing nothing.I wonder if the next book will continue to focus on Jayden and Colt or if the danger to Maryse will be the focus of the next book in the series. I don't care as long as we get another story and soon! I would like to see a little progress in Helene. In the first book we discovered that she had a secret caring nature and she did help some. In this book she is completely self-absorbed and does not contribute anything to solving the problem. I realize that was the outward persona of the living Helena, but I think her caring nature should show through a little, after all she made it to heaven even if she didn't get to stay there. less
