review 1: More Mudbug Fun!!!These stories are so much fun to read. I love the story lines and plots. The Ghost, Helena is hilarious, a total hoot!.I really enjoyed the main characters. They had some great chemistry together. A nicely written sex scene. And there is so much dialogue it's great! I love lots of dialogue in my books. Never a dull moment.The narration is absolutely fantastic, I am a big Johanna Parker fan, she is perfect for these southern Louisiana books. The men sound like men and that is always a great thing.
review 2: Aw, as cute as a bag of Southern Gothic jumbled with comedy. I had to settle for starting this series by Jana Deleon by reading "Mischief in Mudbug", as the first little book had been promised to another library patron. No matter. Man, the ... moremesses we get into because of snarled family ties! Greed is a terrible beast, yet some female characters are just tops! Yea, Mildred! Raissa! Helena! Sabine. Now I'm set to read "Showdown in Mudbug", Louisiana. What fun. less
