review 1: One of the best written books I have read in a long time. The main character Agnes was quite interesting and well spoken for a 17 yr. old. Some of this I found a bit unbelievable being it was the middle of the 1700s, but for the story to be worth reading, she had to overcome her predicament and make a life for herself. I like that it was a plot I couldn't figure out. It did surprise me. It would be nice to continue Agnes' story! I found this at a Dollar Tree store too.

thank goodness I've finished! Really drawn out. Far too 'wordy' & over discriptive.

Although I liked this, the ending just seemed a bit off-too perfectly wrapped up.
