review 1: Tiana Tomlinson has just about everything ... looks, fame, money ... but the one thing that she doesn't have is her late husband. In a business where youth prevails Tiana finds her career in jeopardy of being shared with a co-host who is 10 years her junior. This is a wonderful book about dealing with the stresses of age in a world where being young and beautiful are the keys to fame and success. Kudos to Jane Porter for writing a wonderfully scripted book that women in their late 30's can relate to.
review 2: A really super book that looks at the growth of someone who was being sucked into the superficial world, and then managed to fight to become a woman with enough heart to be her real self. I loved her growth from passive to active, from lonely to happy w... moreith herself despite her supposed ageing. I loved how the story showed how much of a difference each individual can make to the world. The love story was besides the point, although I did love Michael. But Tiana really shone through. She's the kind of woman I would love to know and be friends with. A really super story of not giving in to the beauty myth, of not being a victim of Hollywood and airbrushed fakery. less
