review 1: Dark Space keeps getting better and better. The second book Dark Space: The Invisible War is even more exciting and more interesting book with a lot of twists and cliffhangers. Sub-plot, "adventures of Destra Ortane" (i took liberty of naming it that), is incredibly interesting as well. I can't wait to find out what will happen to her in the next part. :) I loved the reunion of Ethan, his son and later on Alara. These three characters are really growing on me (fig). I loved the deep space battles between nova fighters and the "shells". Dark Space would be one (or more) awesome movie. Jasper T. Scott is an incredible writer and I can't wait to read his entire collection.
review 2: Look to my review of book #1, much of the same (the space battles, etc.) with defi
... morenite improvements by the author. I like the addition of some backstory (flashbacks in time to discover what happened to main character's wife) which was interesting. It appears that the author expanded and grew while writing this sequel to his debut. In short, everything you liked from the 1st book plus some added depth to the overall story. less
