review 1: I absolutely loved this book. This series is written in the future where Aliens have built underground catacombs before leaving the planet, realising that they couldn't live on the surface. Alice meets Drake Sebastian, who's family is very powerful and has different powers. Alice has just lost her job as a magician with her dust bunny pet, Hoodini. Alice has a power that can help Drake save Rainshadow. She agrees to help him. Everything that happens is unexpected, captivating and it makes the book hard to put down. Can't wait to read more!

No matter what life threw at her, she would just keep going.”Woken up from a restless sleep, uncertain, she starts to fade: “She felt the energy level rise a little in the atmosphere and knew that Drake had jacked up his talent so that he could see her. If her found that necessary, it meant she was doing a fade… She had to give Drake credit… most men would have freaked at the sight of a woman jumping out of bed and disappearing into thin air.” less

Pretty fun, per her usual. This series is about the *only* small town books I can stand reading.
