review 2: This one, third in the series, is futuristic, though it was a bit hard to tell. It uses an often used formula...bad boy goes off and then returns after making good and being injured, girl is still waiting/has returned to the same place...and it's done quite well. It's the futuristic part that seems a bit awkward, I think. The bad guys are discovered and ousted! The boys are rescued! And the "girl back home" helps "bad boy" discover his hidden strengths to win the day! Believe it or not, I really liked this book, even if it was formula! less
