review 1: I'd been looking forward to Nick's story because I loved his character. But he seemed almost wimpy in this book. And I never did grow to like Calla. She was flat and cardboard. There was plenty of action, but it seemed to repeat itself. However, I WAS surprised that Tyler would go as far as she did with the climactic scene. Big fans of the series will enjoy this one, but it wasn't my favorite.

Loved it!! needs more than 5 stars!!I have a huge love for shifter novels and the Alpha Pack Series is one of my favorites, it is a very action filled series which involve a lot of characters who grab your attention and don’t let go, even after the story is ended. We met Cole in the first book and knew immediately he would become a wonderful chara... morecter who has a lot of issues to overcome, guilt, banishment from his clan by his brother, acceptance as leader of the Alpha Team, making tough decisions involving the numerous battles the team has to fight, then his capture and torture by a rogue vampire, now his new bondmate is a vampire, with all of these issues his character has developed into one that is fantastic and whose story was a terrific read. Calla who we met in previous novel is perfect for Nick, she has the right amount of strength needed to understand and help Nick overcome his issues showing him that love between a vampire and a wolf can work. She has gone through a lot of pain in her life and now endures torture when she is captured, which only helps to showcase her strength of character. She maybe a princess, but she, her brother and her clan have not had an easy existence, they have fought for every inch of life they have since being forced to flee to this country. I hope we see more of her brothers, Tarron and Adrian who lives in England. The wonderful side stories involving some of the other characters and the new ones introduced only increased the reading pleasure of this terrific story. I am looking forward to the next and many more future books involving these amazing characters in this wonderful series. less
