review 1: De vrolijkheid spat van het papier! Felle, gedetailleerde illustraties van dieren-als-mensen, een verhaal over een klein kindje die op stap is met zijn/haar mama in de stad en ziet hoe iedereen opstarts: ontbijten bij een restaurantje, de brandweer blust een brandje enzovoorts. Superleuke twist aan het eind. In dichtvorm, dus heerlijk voorlezen, met ontzettend veel om aan te wijzen en over door te praten. Voor kleine kinderen vanaf een jaar of twee, zelf lezen voor eind groep drie.
review 2: The reason I chose this book for my pick was because of the flow of the book, illustrations, and how it depicts how someone's day would go if they took a stroll through their town. The illustrations are hysterical when compared with the words the author chose for the book. ... moreI think the reason I chose this was because I couldn't wait to turn the page to see what else was going on in this town. My favorite part was definitely the illustrations. less
