review 1: I recommend this romance to readers who like a little military in their Alpha Males. The author does a fantastic job of drawing the reader into the hero's mind, as he works his way through PTSD and trust issues. Of course, our Heroine has issues as well. The characters were so engaging and well drawn that I had no trouble at all becoming invested in their happily ever after. The premise was strong, the pacing even, the secondary characters engaging as well, and the plot well developed. This seems to be the last of a trilogy, but I haven't read the first two (yet!) and I didn't feel lost or cheated.*I received my copy from NetGalley.com in exchange for an honest review.

... moreem in "The Officer Says I Do". Their interactions with each other Skype and the feeling of two lonely souls finding each other resonated with me. Although the story tended to abruptly time jump in places, it was a solid and engaging tale. Their relationship throughout the book developed very nicely, although I grew frustrated with Veronica at times for being so secretive about her past. Nevertheless, I can't wait for the next installment! less
