review 2: Nasreen’s Secret School is a great book for kids that are between the ages 6 and 9. This book is great for them because it shows the importance of education. It would be good for them to know that in other co... moreuntries some people aren't allowed to go to school and that we are really lucky to have access to education. In this book Nasreen’s dad is taken away from her so she becomes very sad. I really like what her grandma did for her to get her mind out of her being sad; she decides to take her to a secret school since girls are not allowed to go to school. If I was going through the same thing I would have liked my grandma to do the same for me. One thing that I didn't like from this book was the pictures because they were too plain. I think it would be better if the whole page was covered with a picture. less
