Sam Capra
review 1: Sam Capra doesn't want trouble. An ex-CIA agent, his only desire now is to build a peaceful home for himself and his infant son. But Diana Keene is pursued by two gunmen, and when she finds Sam, she whispers a desperate plea: "Help me." Sam is thrust into a fight for his life, for Diana is being hunted by a deadly network. What should be a good premise for a novel falls short of expectations. This is one of Jeff Abbott's weakest novels.
review 2: Plausibility. That's what I need in any novel I read. I want to believe it could happen and could be true. This book has no plausibility. It is just too far fetched to possibly be even remotely considered plausible. Action? This book has it. But believable action? No way. When the hero hurls himself off a high rise in
... more Las Vegas and not only lives but kills several people on the way down and gets clean away with no one knowing who he is, yea, that's not true. Shallow characters. Questionable motivation. This book had everything that I couldn't stand. Yuck. less

Great book. Sam Capra is an exciting hero. Now need to go back to read 1 and 2.

Just ok. Not a bad read, but not a book that I would want to read twice.
