review 1: Bone carried me through its volumes with lush art, a great sense of pace, and characters who were hard not to like. RASL manages two out of the three, but the protagonist didn't really provoke any sort of response in me. As he's a dimension-hopping art thief, I expected he'd have the sly, rogue-like qualities one associates with Han Solo or Robin Hood.All he ends up being is a cranky blank so far. He's got a past hinted at in the first volume, but I felt no curiosity towards it. One day I might idly poke my head in on the second volume, just to see if matters improve, but I'm not optimistic.

Jeff Smith is on point with his artwork once again, and I'm intrigued.
