review 1: This was a prequel to the Ladies of Distinction series, but honestly, I wasn't that impressed with it. The heroine's antics didn't ring true for the time period, no matter how adventurous she might be. It also seemed like everyone indulged her whims, and she seemed to be...blinded by it. ... moren trouble or in some sort of accident where someone was having to "rescue her." If you enjoy the type of humor portrayed on the I Love Lucy show, i think you would enjoy this authors style of writing. less
