review 1: I didn't expect that there's gonna be some crying in here. I didn't expect that this will affect me as much but I cried when Logan stabbed Gwen and she was dying. It would have been more fun if there was more drama, it was too sudden. She died and then next chapter, she's talking with Nike. My tears were just forming in my eyes. It would have been awesome if there was more drama. The last part when Logan left was very much expected. Of course, killing the one that you love can take a big toll out of somebody. I don't know how Logan felt when he did that.Alexii and Oliver. Ooohh, awesome.And why the hell isn't there a rival for Gwen's love? Before it was Preston but he's actually a bad guy so it didn't count and now there's no one. And this is the freaking fourth book, it's... more too late to make someone up.I love the way at every book, there's a new person with Gwen as heroes. First is just Logan, then with Carson and Daphne, then Oliver and now Alexi and Morgan. Morgan's character has grown quite well actually though I think it's too far, but you can never know. Anything is possible.I wanna tear Vivian apart. That fucking bitch.
review 2: I liked that it was a little different than the rest of the series. It introduced the powers that were, the Procarate, basically the mythical governing body. I really liked how all the students showed their hatred for reapers, even if it was a shame on Gwen, her friends stood by her which was lovely. It is a little annoying how Gwen is the only one who can work everything out. How the teachers who are obviously meant to be smarted than a 17 year old girl, are completely oblivious half the time.It was good to see another, tougher side of Grandma Frost. It showed there was a reason why the frost family was often chosen as Nike's champion.Logan's dad has a strong hatred towards the Frost family and often his son. The venom in his words show that not all the good guys are all good.Looking forward to the next book. less
