The Vampire Hunter's Daughter
review 1: Part three finished and i am still really loving this story. So i think i can safely say that i recommend it to anyone listening. In this part Chloe is struggling with her first Christmas without her mother. She decides to go and visit her mother's grave and while there she is visited by her Immortal ancestor that tells her that she must use love to fight her enemies instead of hate. She told her hate comes easier to her as she is part Vampire. She parts ways from her by giving her a gift of bow and arrows.Later Chloe learns that she can conjure fire willingly and she isn't altogether happy about this fact. Not knowing who she is and whether she is gaining these gifts from her Vampire Hunter mother or her Evil Vampire father she decides to research her Vampire side a ... morelittle more. Chloe seems to be growing a little more in this part. She is beginning to understand her situation a little better and seems to be coming to terms with who she is and wanting to know more about her history. Her sanctuary has been attacked and she now knows just how violent these vampires can be and how far her father will really go to get what he wants. She has to decide if it is worth putting the people she cares about in danger just because her father wants her. Should she give herself up to protect those people or keep fighting?
review 2: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the third by in The Vampire Hunter's Daughetr series by Jennifer Malone Wright. The author has continued to shock me in each book. More surprises unfold in this installmet. For such a short story there is definitely a lot going on. We meet a Demi- goddess, vampires die, hunters die, dating is happening lol and I'm sure more stuff will be going down by the next book. You know, just your typical kick ass events that make book by Jennifer Malone Wright great. Chloe learns a lot about herself and her heritage in this book and I can't wait to see how that knowledge is applied to the book. People if you haven't read this series you need too!! less
