review 1: It was a great book. I thought the love triangle was great but the thing I really enjoyed about it is how the characters are really relatable and how you see them change when you read the sequel. At first I thought that Conrad was being such a baby but when u continue reading each book, he starts to grow up and "man-up". I didn't have any team Conrad and Team Jeremiah thing going on but on the last book though, I was more Team Conrad because to me Jeremiah was being a douche bag.
review 2: Hands down my favorite trilogy! Now I know you guys probably think I'm exaggerating, but really I'm not.I find that whenever i try and describe something that makes me feel this happy, I run into a dead end. I get writer's block and my feelings get all jumbled up and I write
... moreand rewrite ways to explain how I feel and eventually i'll just give up. But I couldn't not review this book. When the time comes for me to leave for college, I will take one big box of crap I can't part with, and the summer I turned pretty trilogy will be in that box (or at least the first book).Like many of the people who've reviewed this book, I am a teenager. I can admit that i can really be a little shit sometimes. Belly is a little shit sometimes. She whines and she aches for the attention of A slightly older, mysterious boy, who in her mind, is way out of her league. Many people read these books and get turned off by the fact that boys seem like a priority in her life. Boys are in fact, a priority in belly's life and that is what makes her so real. When you're a 14/15 year old girl, boys are one of your main focuses and hell, if you are willing to accept her as a narrator, you have to accept the whining that comes with it. Belly is not humble or nice all the time, and she makes some stupid decisions and that's how han captures the essence of being a teenager. All of the characters are so real. I don't think I've ever felt so many feelings in my entire life. I was laughing and crying (sometimes at the same time) and my heart was skipping beats while my stomach fluttered. I fell in love with everything about this book. Its been so long since I read it for the first time and I can genuinely say it's completely extraordinary. Its my second summer rereading the book and every time I read it, I feel this wave of nostalgic bliss roll over me. Perfect summer read. less

Decent teen age love story but poorly written. The author has the literary skills of Belly herself.
